Stefan graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) from the University of Technology, Sydney. As part of his course, he completed a clinical internship at the China-Japan friendship hospital in Beijing, China.
Stefan holds a certificate in Japanese Toyohari acupuncture and received training at the Toyohari association in Japan.
He also studied Shonishin, a Japanese form of pediatric acupuncture.
Stefan is one of the very few therapists in Australia who practice medicinal leech therapy (hirudo therapy).
As part of his professional development, Stefan regularly updates his skills by attending seminars and acupuncture training sessions throughout the year.
Stefan works at the Gnostic Healing Centre in Woy Woy on the NSW Central Coast as well as The Genki Centre in Glebe, Sydney. He enjoys treating a broad range of conditions using acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, ear acupuncture Chinese herbal medicine, pediatric acupuncture (Shonishin) and medicinal leech therapy.
Stefan is a government registered acupuncturist and herbalist, a member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS). He currently is the president of the Sydney branch of the Toyohari Medical Association.
